Re: Record of work performed in connection with Bhojpuri Mahotsav 2024 Dear Madam, The Bhojpuri Mahotsav 2024 from 6 to 8 May 2024 held at Belle Mare, Long Beach Hotel was very success and it was my pleasure to be part of it. My services were provided to the Academic Subcommittee for translation purposes from 03rd to 8th May 2024 – I translated the whole programme of the Mahotsav for the website, the AGTF Hindi flyers, and 4 English abstracts sent by your officers, into Bhojpuri. I was also Rapporteur in the first session, theme: Language, Chaired by the Hon.Minister, Avinash Teeluck on day 1-6th May 2024. I also helped Dr O.N. Gangoo, President of Hindi Speaking Union all the 3 days of the Mahotsav but mostly on the last day to collect all the reports from the Rapporteur of each session: from Day 1 to Day 3. I also contributed with him for the final resolutions presented during the closing ceremony. I wish to thank Mrs A..Chumun and Mr Shrikissoon from your Ministry for being very supportive together with other staff of your Ministry. It was a fruitful experience where contacts with other foreign Bhojpuri academics were made for future projects.

Kind Regards, Jayganesh Dawosing Lecturer, Department of Bhojpuri, Folklore & Oral Traditions Mahatma Gandhi Institute, Moka Mob:+230 57586560, Office: 4032000 Ex 2138, Fax: 4331277 Email: jayganesh1201@yahoo.com
