There are three NZQA Unit Standards which fit into the topic of thinking skills.

1. NZQA 20588 Apply knowledge of the Left Brain/Right Brain model metacognition
2. NZQA 20589 Apply knowledge of the Experiential Learning model of metacognition
3. NZQA 12384 Demonstrate knowledge of different thinking processes
