Camera technique whereby the camera remains stationary but the lens is adjusted to make it seem like the subject is moving closer to the viewer. (visual) |
Examples
The clip to the right shows a camera zooming in on a tree.
Typical effects
- Makes the subject appear to increase in size.
- Makes the viewer feel like they are moving closer to the subject.
